Before a TETRA terminal leaves the terminal factory, K and REF are programmed to it. to get TETRA terminal working ITSI have to be programmed to TETRA terminal and transferred to operator’s SwMI .
There are two means for the data delivery from the ITSI Tool to operator’s SwMI: automatic and manual. Automatic data delivery means that data is delieverd using a end-to-end Internet connection between ITSI Tool and operator. Manual data delivery means, that instead of end-to-end Internet connection, the ITSI,REF data is delivered to operator on a transportable media (such as a CD-ROM) in TETRA MoU recommendation 1,1 or 1,0 file format.
