ASMTower software is an advanced software for designing, analyzing and preparing construction plans for all kinds of communication towers. This software provides comprehensive output capabilities based on graphics and text. ASMTower at ASMTechnologies was developed by tower design experts to facilitate the design of towers and their foundations and the preparation of their construction plans.
You can analyze and design different types of structures such as tapered/stepped monopoles, lattice towers, tied masts, bars and masts, or braced shafts. ASMTower provides all required data from structural loading, linear/nonlinear analysis, buckling length, effective buckling length, member strength, bolt strength, anchor bolt strength, anchor development length, foundation analysis, foundation stability checks, interaction diagrams for RC columns and Calculates the prepared.
ASMTower software can be used for all kinds of structures such as steel ladders, step screws, safety wires, feeders, paneled antennas, microwave antennas, satellite dishes, solar panels or general appliances.. ASMTower supports ANSI/TIA-222-H design code. which includes wind turbine structures.

ASMTower performs tower design in accordance with ANSI/TIA-222-G & H.
The design steps of the tower in ASMTower are as follows:
1- The structure of data entry by the user
2- Load calculation by software
3- Creating FE model and analyzing it by software
4- Members and screw connections are checked by the software
5- Create report by software
Design and analysis
ASTower analyzes and designs towers using ANSI/TIA-222-H or ANSI/TIA-222-G. ASMTower automatically generates dead load, wind load, ice load and guy load on the overall structure. Creating a 3D truss frame models the structure and calculates the strain applied to all members and the deformation of the tower.
ASMTower software creates a complete 3D view of the structure, accessories, transmission lines and ladders. This presentation facilitates the inspection of the structure and provides a realistic view for it.
Types of structures supported in ASMTower
Three- or four-sided self-supporting towers
Three- or four-sided towers
Types of conical/stepped monopoles (round, 20 sides, 18 sides, 16 sides, 12 sides and 8 sides)
Guide poles
Structures with base members (usually used in roof structures)
Also, the structure can be a combination of the above types
Automatic load calculation:
Calculation of wind and ice loads and structure weight
Calculation of steel members in mesh tower, monopole staircase and monopole cone.
Panel antenna (either vertical or tilted).
Microwave antenna (with or without base).
Base / pipe for antenna installation
satellite dish.
Solar Panels.
Clusters of transmission lines (rectangular or circular).
Ladder (with/without safety).
Step screws.
Any projected effective area or concentrated forces at any height.

Analytical capabilities of ASMTower
ASMTower generates the finite element analysis model required for the analysis tower. The model includes member geometry, releases, materials, profiles, and loads, and then analyzes the model against the requirements of the selected design code. The analysis methods can be summarized as follows:
Automatic generation of dummy nodes, elements and members.
The analysis model is generated according to the requirements of the design code.
Linear or P-delta analysis (including cable behavior) is used to obtain forces and deformations.
Ability to analyze structures with foundations.
Optionally to export the tower model to STAAD-PRO software (with all loads and all combinations).
Types of analysis methods
ASMTower software includes the following types of analysis methods and the appropriate method can be selected automatically.
Linear analysis
P-Delta analysis.
Cable analysis including catenary model
Possibilities:
Design/analysis of excavated caisson for monopole
Mat foundation design/analysis for monopoles
Design/analysis of mat foundation for 3 or 4 base towers
Design/analysis of wide footings for 3 or 4 foot towers (separate footing and cushion for each tower footing)
Definitions of soil layer
Entered from structural analysis or user-defined load cases and load combinations
Unit systems supported: US, metric or mixed
Design features:
ASMTower performs the following calculations according to the selected design code:
Maximum soil stress versus allowable stress.
Overall stability as heave, overturn and skid.
Sufficient strength for single cut, punch cut and bending strength.
Interaction diagram for uniaxial/biaxial columns.
Minimum area required for reinforcement as per design code.
